Feeling confused about the wide variety of laser treatments available on the market? Not sure about what would be the best option for your skin?  At MédIME, we have been specializing in skin care, injections and lasers for more than 15 years. We have the knowhow and state-of-the-art technologies to best treat aesthetic conditions in all skin types.

This month at Medime, we are promoting the Microneedling RF and eMatrix combination providing smoother and tighter skin.

Microneedling RF delivers radiofrequency through gold-plated micro-needles into the deeper layers of the skin.  Radiofrequency energy stimulates collagen and elastin production resulting in long lasting firming and tightening of the skin. Microneedling RF is indicated to treat the face, neck and décolleté. It is also useful in treating some scars and stretch marks.

EMatrix technology uses bipolar fractional radiofrequency to deliver energy through skin surface. This technology aims at restoring normal collagen structures in the superficial and mid dermis. It works best at repairing sun damage, decreasing pore size, correcting acne scars as well as erasing fine wrinkles.

How many treatments are needed?

Patients require a series of 2 to 4 sessions on average depending on the severity of their condition. Treatment sessions are typically spaced 10 to 14 days apart for faster and better results.

When can results be first noticed?

Results appear progressively over the weeks following the treatment. Up to 4 months are required before seeing the final results. Progressive dermal remodeling and repair results in smoother and tighter skin texture as well as brighter skin complexion.

What does post-treatment recovery look like?

Twenty-four to 48 hours are required on average for skin recovery after eMatrix and a bit less after Microneedling RF. Make-up and normal skin care can be resumed in general after 24 hours with adequate sun protection daily.
