Face lift and neck lift
The mini-facelift and short incision facelift performed by Dr Jean-François Tremblay dermatologist dedicated to the practice of cosmetic dermatology, laser and cosmetic surgery at the MédIME clinic in Montreal.
The mini-facelift, demi-facelift or short incision facelift, explains Dr. Jean-François Tremblay, are surgical techniques used to tighten the skin and tissues that support the lower face and neck. The aim is to redefine the lower facial contour, the line below the chin and the jaw line while maintaining a natural appearance.
The demi-facelift is often combined with a mini-liposuction of the neck area in order to obtain the best contour and overall result. In most cases, this surgery can be performed with local anesthetic (without general anesthetic). Most patients can return to work discreetly 7 to 10 days after the treatment.
The benefits of this procedure are long-term. Alternatives to the demi-facelift include Thermage (radiofrequency treatment), fractional lasers, Botox and volumizing or firming injections (Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Voluma, Teosyal) in the face and neck area.
