Liposuction and liposculpture for the face and body
Liposuction and Liposculpture performed by Dr Jean-François Tremblay dermatologist dedicated to the practice of cosmetic dermatology, laser and cosmetic surgery at the MédIME clinic in Montreal.
Liposuction and liposculpture, explains Dr. Jean-François Tremblay of the MédIME clinic, are surgical procedures used to enhance the contours and silhouette of the face and body. They are not weight-loss techniques, but rather techniques that restore balance to the proportions of different areas of the body. Areas that can be treated with liposuction include the lower face and neck (double chin), arms, torso, abdomen, hips, thighs and buttocks. In most cases, liposculpture is performed using local anesthetic only (no general anesthetic). Most patients can return to work just days after the procedure.
The benefits of this procedure are long-term. An alternative to liposuction is blade-free liposculpture using Liposonix technology. Either technique can be combined with LPG endermology, a lymphatic drain, Thermage or the Powerplate system for optimal results.
